Hebbe waterfalls in Chikamagalur ..

Kemmangundi has spectacular waterfalls cascading down along its slopes. Hebbe falls is mesmerizing, offer an excellent view of the cascading water. Just about 13kms away from the famous hill station Kemmangundi. You should go there, in case you are visiting Kemmanagundi. The fall is too great.
Kemmangundi to Hebbe falls route was very muddy & jagged & this is a jeep track route (you can hire a jeep in Kemmangundi). But also I went by my bike & I drove one of the craziest drives I have ever been through. After reaching estate it is 1km walk to the waterfalls. We had to cross 3 small river types where we need to remove the shoes to reach Hebbe falls.
We reached the falls soon & spent sometime out there in the falls, captured enough photos & spent some time. We came back with tremendous memories.
This waterfall is surrounded with dense forests and coffee plantations, cascades down from 250 feet to Dodda Hebbe and Chikka Hebbe 200ft, its two stages.
Butterfly's 'Mela' in Hebbe...
Finally, this trek had everything in it………lot of adventure, Long bike ridding, Beautiful nature...On the whole it was an amazing weekend. Totally I enjoyed this trip lot, it’s like Heaven.

Vibhooti Waterfalls -Uttarkannada

One of the numerous waterfalls of the Western Ghats. This waterfall is at few kilometers distance from the place Yana. It is a two step falls and the water is absolutely white, due to the limestone and hence the name Vibhooti falls. A pool formed at the base of the falls provides a nice place for swimming and bathing. When we visited this wonderful place we gave a visit to Yana also.

Badami - Ancient Cave temples

Badami was once the capital of the great Chalukyan Empire that controlled most of peninsular India between the 4th and 8th centuries AD.

The huge lake with rocky hills surrounding it on three sides and sandstone temples at the feet of these hills.

Of the four cave temples, third one is the largest and has some fine carvings
