Nagaramudi Waterfalls (Chendia Falls)

Some kind of restlessness and urge for adventure into the wild made Rajesh Naik and me to plan a trek to an unknown destination a totally wild and new place in Uttarakannada district as per his plans we first wanted to visit this unknown waterfall Nagaramudi.
We finally started after a long bus journey we had our breakfast in a local Konkani village hotel, that small hotel was almost covered by this hotel's very fat but very active hotel owner and his staff who were serving very delicious food this gave us strength to cover our long journey on foot.
We followed the directions which the hotel owner gave us and started on NH17 after a few minute’s walk we entered a village road and like it started it just ended near a mountain, we were a little confused we started back and took another cross road this leads us to the upper part of the fall.
This is a very unique fall though it is very small falling from just 10ft height it creates a big cave I had never seen such a cave like this before if we have to stand under the waterfall we need to swim inside this cave till bottom of this waterfall to reach bottom of the waterfalls.
Though I wanted to try it out I was little hesitant recalling the anaconda movie I swam back I did try many times but finally decided to come back, we spent a long time and on our way back we went to a calm beautiful beach we got to see a spectacular sunset finally a complete adventure in an unknown unexplored wilderness......

Tilmati : Beautiful Black Sand Beach in Karnataka

This is not famous beach (black sand) in Karnataka, But This is a perfect place to enjoy the scenery, explore the black sand beach and for swim also.

This beach is very clean & unpolluted. Here no crowd; no plastic’s, very hygienic & also we can reach very easily, only 15 minutes trekking itself. After crossing one small stream we climbed two three small mountains & we saw this spectacular black sand beach.
The white tips of cresting waves against the deep blue Sea are beautiful, but it's the astonishing black sand beach that will take your breath away.
Generally, the sand becomes black when it originates from a volcanic irruption. This small beach is set among lava cliffs and the sand is actually small, smooth, lava pebbles.

Besides this natural wonder, the beach offers a spectacular view of the greenish blue sea water. The beach is enclosed by mighty hills and mountains.

Especially I like to tell thanks to my friend ‘Rajesh Naik’ for inviting this great trip with him.
